Cheshire Cat, #402, has a pedestal seat installed. Bolts run all the way through to the bottom. Such a seat is convenient at times, but at other times it gets in the way. I would much rather a seat which folds up from the side, but haven't figured out the details (and fear the cost would be high). I have added a slide on the seat which helps. Although I cannot stand at the helm, I can push the seat forward to open up the cockpit space when at moorage.
